At Ram’s Gate Winery, we are very particular about how our 28-acre estate is treated by everyone who steps foot on her, which is why we take a holistic approach to prioritize our environmental impact when growing, harvesting, fermenting, bottling, and serving our wine.
Our compassionate team of wine professionals is thrilled that sustainable wine is grabbing the attention of winemakers and enthusiasts throughout California and across the country. However, our organic approach to respecting the land beneath our feet—and in our case, our fingers—is about more than wine. It is why we are here.
We have pledged to protect the environment, support social responsibility, maintain economic feasibility, and produce high-quality wines to share now and for years to come.

At Ram’s Gate, winemaking is a fluid pursuit of perfection, which means re-evaluating more than our winemaking processes, but thoughtfully focusing on the land and how we nurture and honor our vines, so we can keep this beautiful process in motion for our next generation—and theirs.
Since 2015, we have carried the Certified Sustainable Vineyard designation administered by the Wine Institute and California Association of Winegrape Growers, and it is our sincere pleasure to make our communities proud by retaining it.
As a result of our careful administration, Ram’s Gate is thrilled to advance the importance of environmental stewardship, conservation of natural resources, and socially equitable business practices to produce organic wine that can be enjoyed by all.
