On our home estate we have 5 varieties and 16 different
clones producing roughly 90 tons per year. A diverse micro-climate, with the fog from nearby San Pablo Bay and the winds from Petaluma Gap influencing our weather, allows us to grow varieties outside of the normal Chardonnay and Pinot Noir commonly found in our area.

A little-known vineyard, Berler sits at 1600 feet above sea
level in a northern section of Spring Mountain. The vineyard has a cooler microclimate due to the elevation and the planting aspect which avoids direct, intense sunlight thus slowly ripening the fruit. Planted exclusively to Cabernet Sauvignon its an elegant and refined site, reminiscent of a bygone era for Sonoma Cabernet.

On the foothills of Sonoma Mountain and within the Sand Hill section of the vineyard, a 1.71-acre plot of Syrah is planted giving the fruit a savory characteristic with a balance of richness and texture.

Planted by Ulises Valdez, one of the most respected
growers in Sonoma County, the site is tucked away on a steep ridge off Eastside Road. Its proximity to the Russian River allows it to benefit from the cool morning fog pulled from the Pacific Ocean and afternoon sun that promotes balanced growth.

Located on a western hillside of Sonoma Mountain, it has a modest slope that is perfectly angled to receive the maritime influences. However, the vineyard was carefully planted with most vines on the hillside above the fog line to encourage even sunlight exposure during the final stages of fruit ripening.

The only vineyard we source from outside of Sonoma county is the Hyde Vineyard in Napa county. Situated on gently rolling hills, this is a storied vineyard that was first planted by Larry Hyde in 1979.The vineyard is farmed sustainably and organic and is planted with eight different varietals.

Resting atop Stoetz Ridge near the village of Occidental, this vineyard is planted to primarily the Calera and Vosne-Romanée clones. The property lies in what is often referred to as the banana-belt of the Green Valley where nighttime temperatures often drop below 50 degrees at night, yet days are often met with consistently brilliant sunny days.
