Director of DTC Sales and Marketing
With more than 15 years of experience in marketing and managing customer-centric strategies in the art and wine industries, Meredith Hayes currently leads the DTC, brand marketing and distribution programs at Ram’s Gate Winery.
Originally from New England, Meredith graduated from Northeastern University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in International Business and Marketing. During her time in college, she held marketing positions at a variety of art museums including the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki in New Zealand. After graduating, she held in-house marketing and consulting positions at a technology firm in Massachusetts and a book publishing company in Arizona, before returning to her fine arts roots and working as Director of Public Relations and Marketing for the Tucson Museum of Art.
During this time, Meredith found herself frequently traveling to Sonoma with her husband to chase their love for wine. In 2011, they decided to make the move to Santa Rosa, CA, where Meredith worked in customer service and direct-to-consumer roles for Treasury Wine Estates, Mumm Napa Valley and Gundlach Bundschu until 2014. She then joined Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards, where she served as the Direct Sales Manager, driving sales through various direct-to-consumer channels. She joined the Ram’s Gate team in March 2021.
Meredith holds a WSET Level 2 certification and has served on the Steering Committee of the DTC Wine Symposium since 2018. Residing in Santa Rosa, Meredith is passionate about photography in all forms, exploring new countries, and cooking for guests who come from near and far to visit.
