2020 was marked by low yields at our Estate Vineyard, due to spring frost events. The resulting wines are concentrated relative to their overall low alcohols. The 2020 Pinot Blanc in particular, is finely textured, pretty and at a modest 12.6% alcohol, is clocking in at the lowest alcohol to date. A dry spring brought on increased water stress making these compact clusters, richly flavored and focused.
On the nose, aromas of lychee, gooseberry with accents of green apple and pear. An elegant and refreshing wine, with precise acidity, mouthwatering minerality and a hint of baking spice.
