Hailing from an older Syrah planting at Hyde Vineyard, this Syrah Noir block is situated on a gentle hillside in the windy Carneros AVA. Picked within the first few days October, the 2019 does a terrific job of showing the typicity of the site which is hallmarked by higher-toned fruit with more savory notes of prosciutto and bacon fat—characteristics we love in Syrah.
